Online copywriter - Web content that speaks to the hearts of your customers

Who I write for

A web site copywriter for technology and creative businesses

As a copywriter, I’ve written for dozens of industries. (There’s a list here, though it’s not exhaustive.) But after writing for so many businesses over the last decade, I’ve chosen to focus my online copywriting services primarily on those types of websites I enjoy most: websites for technology and creative businesses.

Many copywriters are afraid to specify a niche. But I know what I do best, and exactly who I want to work with. If your business fits this description, I may be the copywriter your website needs:

Your creative solution is valued by the customer. You consider your business to be different from others—perhaps you’ve found an underserved niche or maybe you’re a little quirky (or just very talented). Your customers want to know you think differently – and see evidence of your thought leadership.

The total user experience on your website is important to you. You understand that your site can be the start of a beautiful relationship with a new client, customer or fan—not just a place for transactions to happen. You want your website to rock the customer’s world, and rock in Google, too. And of course you want your website’s reach to extend across more online media (but only where it’s a good fit).

Perhaps you run a business that sounds like one of these:

  • Ecommerce store with a unique product or personality
  • Technology that’s paving the way to do things differently
  • Photographer or photography studio
  • A startup that’s changing an industry
  • Acupuncture or other natural medicine treatment center
  • Eco-friendly service or products

To learn more about working with a copywriter for your web site and Internet marketing, give me a shout, and together we can figure out if we’re a good fit. (Even if we’re not, I will be able to refer you to the right copywriter for your business.)

“Lisa was the first copywriter I have ever worked with and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! She was extremely easy to work with and her communication throughout the process was excellent. We are a very niche oriented organization and it only took one phone call to discuss what we were looking for – the rest of our communication was done through email and was really very seamless. I was impressed how she understood early on what we wanted and worked with us to not only produce quality copy, but copy that naturally integrated our keywords to optimize our site for search. Researching her and deciding to hire her was easy as we were able to find all the information we needed about her on her website. By her credentials and examples of her work, we determined that she was well seasoned and well-qualified. I would definitely recommend Lisa Banks to anyone who needs web or print copy – we were very happy with the outcome and the entire experience of working with a freelancer.” – Molly Hanley, CIM USA, Inc.
